I think the main Covenant abilities deliver well enough on promises. I literally leveled a Worgen Warrior just to (hopefully) be able to kill Sylvanas with her, so this is pretty damn pleasing to me. Destructive Reverberations - It's just a different flavor of both covenant ability and conduit as the Kyrian one above. One of the problems with Warriors in last expansion was the 3 minute cooldown on Die by the Sword . Welcome to Wowhead's Arms Warrior Arena PvP Guide! Warrior. It might have been too fast toward the end of BfA, but removing all of that stuff and nerfing baseline enrage is too much. This combined with the insane amount of mobility that MM Hunters have and the Kyrian ability that means they can attack you without line of sight makes them a nightmare to face as an Arms Warrior. I know you can talent it but the ability doesn’t feel the same. I heavily mained arms through MoP and honestly really miss Second Wind. Arms Warrior PvP Talents and Builds (Shadowlands / 9.0.2) Last updated on Dec 27, 2020 at 21:37 by Karanze 9 comments Choosing the right PvP and PvE talents ⦠TLDR: Our base designs are bland. I want to blow a motherfucker up. Ashen Juggernaut - Another example of a copy/paste from Legion that wasn't thought through. As a frost dk...please can we have Soul Reaper back?! In this section of the guide, we will cover every useful macro for Arms Warriors in PvP, including focus macros. That said a boring filler move is not the worst thing to have. )What why should I have to choose between the two? So let's talk about that. Depths of Insanity - One of our best conduits. i think most people like test of might, its a really fun iteration of the spec right now, Still a lot of room for stuff like that to come in, with covenant abilities, legendaries, and soulbind stuff. The main reason I ended up swapping to fury was the lack of self healing on arms, solo content was just too obnoxious. Looks like you're using new Reddit on an old browser. Overall, I feel like Fury legendaries are some of the most boring in the entire game. There were 7 different traits I had between Essences and Azerite that all contributed to my resources, haste, and general speed of the gameplay loop around Rampage use. In this section of the guide, we will cover each Covenant and its viability for Arms Warriors. If you play with Warmode on, we have your PvP talents covered as well. We got the most nerfed version of it when they tried to kill it so you would use the Antorus bonuses, Mortal Strike is nowhere near as relatively powerful as it was in Legion. I'm hoping covenant stuff or legendaries feed in some more rage, and I guess the Execute change does make Sudden Death a bit stronger.- Zax. I wouldn't say no to something being added to slam to make it less boring, but I prefer cs, ms, and execute being the highlights. I just discovered this channel and the stuff you guys do is great. Ashen Juggernaut - Execute is more powerful for Arms than Fury so it's not bad. 2.1m. They still probably won't have crazy good survivability, but Ignore Pain alone makes it feel way better. Recklessness, Shield Wall and Retaliation are no long accessible to all specs. I also think the spec suffers from having nothing exciting to look forward to. Signet of Tormented Kings - The only legendary that is actually fun and cool. The World of Warcraft: Shadowlands pre-patch brings many class changes that move ⦠People complain about pruning but I wouldn't mind slam getting removed or baked into whirlwind either. I'm not going to spend time detailing them. But... doesnât feel right. That's a cool idea, but unfortunately the implementation here makes Recklessness only buff your two weakest abilities in your kit and has completely zero interaction with anything else you ever press. For a detailed look at the changes, check out our Warrior Changes in Shadowlands Guide! Sure it might be tuned just slightly better, but it's still not very and doesn't have any exciting legendaries and such to look forward to. I feel like the Shadowlands systems are a complete failure when it comes to Arms and Fury and I'll detail that out below. Some specs are always gonna perform better at early stages of expansions and some always at later stages of expansions. I havenât gotten that far yet but Iâm sure Iâll know what youâre talking about soon. I'm only talking about Arms/Fury, I don't really play prot. I main Fury, but Iâve been curious about arms. Also even while the design is improved from Legion, it is still almost useless in all non raid content. Shadow Priest. The proc rate is quite high but this legendary suffers during the Execute phase, particularly as Venthyr as you are likely to be playing Massacre with Condemn, leading to a 55% total âExecute phaseâ (100-80% and 35-0%). An example of a power created without any thought toward the modern design. Obviously early Legion legendaries were too strong, but these are much weaker than end of Legion legendaries ended up being and that makes them not very exciting (at least for warrior, again I can't speak for all classes). And our legendaries don't help us there... Unhinged - Yet another example of a copy/paste from Legion. When it comes to weapons, Shadowlands kept it simple â any class can use any Enchant regardless of weapon type, but many enchants favor a specific role: Celestial Guidance â This occasionally increases the characterâs primary stat by 5% when attacking, using spells, or abilities. Since the first day ive read about the covenants it has definitely been between kyrian and venthyr regardless of number tuning. As a Arms Warrior with 26K health it deals about 40-50% of my hp normally and about 80% if both Aimed Shots crit. The flow of the aoe rotation is great, but buffing WW is about as meaningless as they come. Resource issues make it difficult to be to excited about your secondary abilities since you can't hit them much though. Updated with the latest Shadowlands Pre-Patch 9.0.1 info. I care about my warrior, and I don't want to play something else. Every race can play a Warrior. Being modeled after Executioner's Precision was one of the most well received aspects of the spec in Legion (and for the one patch in BfA launch before they removed it). WoW Classes Ranked: The Best of the Best. With Shadowlands on the horizon, Iâm actually thinking of returning to the Arms Warrior once again. We will also cover the best PvP addons for Arms Warriors, and for PvP in general. Unfortunately it's still just not very strong. When you combine this with the baseline haste nerf on enrage the spec is tremendously slower than it was in BfA which was one of the best parts of the identity. So it really hardly makes Recklessness much better at all since it doesn't interact with a majority of your kit, covenants, legendaries, and conduits. ????????????????? Learn everything you need to know about Arms Warrior Rotations, Spell Priorities, Utility, Cooldown Usage and much more! Strategy as Arms Warrior VS. Crash the Ramparts - Decent I suppose and has a fun interaction with the Dreadnaught talent (maybe unintended?). Deathmaker - Relatively speaking it's a strong legendary for Shadowlands. There's a reason this azerite trait was never used, and it's again something that has zero impact on how the spec plays even it wasn't terrible and easily prone to the passive buff falling off and being worthless. Mortal Combo - 100% passive...again. Even if it's not the best, just having a rage generating button feels too good. Vehicles need to be tuned down and so do the walls it was fun in WOTLK but nowadays itâs a 40 min farming fest for defense As tank you don't get invited to M+ since literally ANY OTHER CLASS IS BETTER. Units you will buy. They took our worst and least fun azerite trait and turned it into a Legendary. For whatever reason they've felt the need to start the last three expansions with a resource starved version of Arms. So play Arms, Fury has always been and always will be terrible at expansion launch because they are extremely reliant on secondary stats. I figured Arms would be good after seeing the Mastery change. I play arms warrior and I canât stop thinking constantly that I wish I had another button that did damage. Seismic Reverberation - More interesting for Arms than Fury because Whirlwind at least does some damage for Arms and has a couple of potentially interesting interactions with some conduits.
