In all seriousness, this is a late game recipe but it does add a lot of complexity requiring crystal oscillators and beacons both. Simply add water! Fast crafting and high productivity, this is a decent one. This one is not great. After the update they bumped down the silica cost and this is much more feasible. Crystal Oscillator. And I highly recommend reading the spreadsheet itself rather than just this post. Tier: I put them in tiers like a true nerd. I'm still not sold on this. Throughout the game, these are your basic materials used to build many objects. Welcome to our Tier 2 Satisfactory Guide! If you have extra oil, this allows you to get more iron plates. Discover the magic of the internet at Imgur, a community powered entertainment destination. Gunpowder. That came at a nice time when my steel beams were being eaten by the last item the space elevator needed. Biomass coal has 1 use only: Use black power to make projectiles and explosives, Use projectiles and explosives to kill fauna, New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast, More posts from the SatisfactoryGame community. Our first big project in Satisfactory, once we'd worked through the early game of producing basic resources like iron plates and copper wire, was building a proper power facility. This is because you will save a lot of time in collecting the material. Gather 1x Reinforced Iron Plate and 1x Rotor for the Assembler. This is because Iron Rods and Wire only require 15 ingots per minute, whereas plates require 30. You add a ton of complexity, but you're at nuclear fuel anyway, might as well go the whole mile! Still, it does essentially turn iron into copper which, considering how much more iron there is on the map, use this when short on copper! Higher power cost and space requirements are all you have to look out for. I see what you're saying but I agree it's a very specific playstyle that would rank that recipe highly. Reinforced Iron Plates are an upgraded version of Iron Plates used to construct Conveyor Belt Mk.2, Conveyor Lift Mk.2, several other buildings, and some moderately advanced parts. However, you are still using two rare resources to replace copper, which, especially when using pure copper ingots, is much more readily available. A build train is extremely handy for working away from your base where your building materials are located. To make these two items, you need Iron Ore, which you can farm from a nearby vein. Haha thanks! Notes: Obvious. This, however, involves using Coal and Crude Oil, which are rarer resources. *spoiler* most of them suck, they almost all use refineries. More space efficient as well as ore efficient. You get 200% s/s and roughly equivalent weighted productivity and power usage. I presume they're meant for contexts yet to be added to the game. All recipes sourced from Greeny's awesome new tool (and more to come) at https://update3.satisfactory.greeny.dev/, Name: Name of the alternate recipe (I shortened item names with more than 2 words to use abbreviations. But if this is what you're looking for, then here it is! In any case, you can totally disagree with me! Extra steps. Relative productivity (unweighted/mean/weighted). Someone else convinced me to upgrade it to D, so I've changed my mind a little. This is what you're looking for. It's called "fine black powder". Thank you for reading. Reinforced Iron Plates. My last playthrough it was the iron ingots into screws one. Each additional raw resource counts as 1, each crafting step counts as 1, and oil products add an extra 1 to manage byproducts. This is maybe the best recipe for early to mid game that exists. You'll need 50 Iron Rod, 50 Iron Plate and 50 Wire. Do you need something to do with your heavy oil residue? However, it does translate copper into caterium which is something everyone may need at some point. This is your big winner. A is really good, you would use this almost all the time. I poured over your other post religiously during the previous updates in order to decide which recipes to get and when, and have really been hoping that someone would put another list with all the new alternate recipes together. Add some water and get more quartz! Another all around great recipe. satisfactory-path-optimiser. Wonderful! PLEASE remember these are simply my opinions, formed mostly by the numbers but also somewhat by gameplay. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. Helps you be efficient! Slower speeds, more power, and 109% mean productivity isn't really worth all the extra work. I started a new game a couple of weeks ago, and of course the early game is where alternate recipes really come in handy, like turning iron ingots into screws rather than making them from rods, stitched iron plate (copper wire + iron plate as opposed to the default iron plate + screws), etc. S is incredible. Almost all of the alt recipes allow you to make their product more efficiently than the standard recipe-- they require less energy per product and the rate of production per minute is (usually) greater than the standard recipe. You can easily set up loops that only produce one material from fuel. This is a metric for me to determine how much additional (or reduced) complexity the extra ingredients cause. And I'm just ecstatic that not only did someone do it, but it's the same person! There's no great way (that I know of) to post this to reddit as a nice table without tons of work. F-S. F is really bad. 97% mean productivity, almost triple the s/s, and huge power savings make this a great recipe in my book! the new recipes i mean. I know you want them to feel like alternatives and not buffs, but I really like having some that improve factory efficiency outright :). Iron plates for example are used to build conveyors and other advanced objects and items. A very "meh" recipe. No. Satisfactory is the new factory building game from the video game studio behind Goat Simulator. I love the spreadsheet, but I’m going to have to disagree with you on the biomass coal. Combine Iron Plates and Iron Rods to create the Portable Miner from the Equipment Bench. To build this Equipment Workshop in the game, you need 5 Iron Plates and 5 Iron Rods. I think Coffeestain messed up. Unweighted counts ALL raw resources equally, i.e. Last edited by Jaska on Jul 14, 20 4:10pm Español - Latinoamérica (Spanish - Latin America). Also those things craft 1/min so you need TONS of space for the manufacturers of them. Iron Rod - 17 Molten Iron = 45 Iron Rod. But you (and the other guy) have made a strong point for why the recipe is valuable. You want this as soon as possible. They shifted the ratios around after the patch but it's still great! Is the sheet being laggy? So this is a really really good one. Comments? Now that this recipe has been buffed, it's not useless! No refactoring makes this an S. This is another no brainer. After doing that, you can now equip and use the Miner to automatically harvest ore. It's a little low on weighted productivity, but go ahead and use iron wire and then this becomes an all star again! It essentially only exists so that you CAN automate fabric. They're amazing and are better in every way. 4x the s/s is massive, and a 95% mean weighted productivity is a price that I'm willing to pay! Slightly less productive, and much slower, but you save a lot of complexity by using coal instead of petroleum coke. Both are the most useful recipes in my book, as screws in the early to mid game was my automative bugbear...never enough to feed the beast. There are also lots of other recipes that use more copper instead of iron, so this alongside those recipes means you're still using iron to make the copper as a substitute, but just way way less of it! Der alternative Bauplan ist wesentlich ressourcensparender. Worth noting that it's better than copper alloy ingot in terms of productivity in all metrics. However, in this case, it's a consumable, which I personally don't find amazingly valuable to automate. CoffeeStain please don't remove some of these recipes.
